This was one I painted today as part of a world wide paint out supported by IPAP(International Plein Air Painters). This one was done after I wiped down an unsuccessful oil.
"This is a small studio painting that I did from some photos and pencil sketches I had. The sketches and photos were from a 1998 trip to Africa. My inlaws used to be missionaries there and this was their church in Kenya. This piece in in their private collection and not available for sale."
"This is a plein air piece done on location at the Sunshine Lavender Farm Paintout. It is available at the BAL Gallery in Burlington, NC or by emailing me at the address below." UPDATE- This piece is now SOLD
"I painted this sketch today to try out a new type of panel that I ordered from artist David Johnson. This is a scene I did from memory, from last year when I was passing through Florida on my way to catch a cruise ship to the Bahamas. This was near Cocoa Beach."
